The Customer Service Claims Representative responds to inbound calls from members & provides for the State of Maryland Public Behavioral Health Plan
The CSR assist callers by providing information around benefits eligibility, claims & appeals statuses, while guiding callers to other resources & departments based upon needs.
**Answering incoming calls from Members & Network Providers to identify the type of assistance needed:
**Immediate crisis support from a Master-level clinician and/or a referral to behavioral heath services
**Benefit & eligibility information
**Authorizations for inpatient treatment
**Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
**Ensure that the proper benefits are applied to each claim by using the appropriate processes & procedures
Bachelor's degree in behavioral health discipline preferred and or 2/3 years claims experience
Position will start at home, however, will transfer over to in office as The State clears employee's to safely return to work, due to the effects of Covid 19.
Monday through Friday 10am to 6:30pm
