            <description><![CDATA[<p>Job Title: EVS/Laundry Aide<br />Shift/Schedule: Onsite; 5X8, weekends required. Flexibility in shifts (possible shifts listed below). Schedule will be announced weekly. Position will require floating between laundry and EVS services depending on unit needs.<br />Shifts Required:<br />4a - 12:30p<br />6a - 2:30p<br />7a - 3:30p<br />Interview: Onsite<br /><br />JOB REQUIREMENTS:<br />- 1 + years of experience in EVS and Laundry services<br />- HS Diploma or GED<br />- 1 Professional Reference within 2 years of start<br /><br />JOB DUTIES:<br />Keeps assigned areas clean and orderly empties wastebaskets and trash; replenishes supplies. Performs stat cleaning when<br />necessary. Cleans patient rooms to ensure that rooms and treatment areas are properly cleaned and prepared for<br />new patients. Cleans and straightens pantries on nursing units. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment used in<br />performance of job.<br />Routinely inspects rooms and unit to identify and correct basic maintenance problems. Checks and notifies appropriate personnel<br />of such problems.<br />Replenishes supplies in patient rooms and public restrooms.<br />Prior to beginning tasks, establish a rapport with patients/customers by providing a brief description of the clean process asking for<br />key focal point that may be of particular interest to the patient/family.<br />Builds effective relationships across work groups by treating fellow employees with courtesy, respect and inclusiveness; maintains<br />a positive attitude and takes responsibility for assignments.<br />Delivers clean linen to units and restocks shelves by linen quota. Collects soiled linens from units and sorts for processing.<br />Assembles, sorts, counts, folds, inspects and packs clean linens. Sorts, weighs, records and loads soiled linens. Has working<br />knowledge of normal laundry equipment. Maintains equipment used in the performance of the job in an orderly, useful and safe<br />manner. Maintains work area, facilities, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner. Maintains necessary records as<br />directed and assists in inventory. Reports malfunctions to Supervisor.</p>]]></description>
